Default Orajel

I was wondering what experiences people have had with Orajel. Positive and negative, and also the particulars of the situation (ie. how much they used, duration of numbness, and how well it worked.)

My girlfriend and I are looking into using it, but we want to be safe.

Thanks for your help,
Wuber

I haven't had any personal experience with Orajel but I have used the stuff they sell in the adult stores specifically to delay ejaculation, which essentially works on the same principle, numb the sensation a little.

As I mentioned in another thread, for me, if the sensation is numbed too much I won't be able to stay erect, but then I'm middle aged and that factors in as well. If you are using either of these products with your lady one draw back is that it can numb her sensation too UNLESS of course you are wearing a condom so it doesn't come in contact with her.

For that matter, a condom alone numbs almost enough sensation to let me last a long time, if that is your objective. I know that others are seeking something like erection and performance with virtually no feeling or orgasm for the male. For me it wouldn't work because my erection will collapse pretty quickly without stimulation (even with Viagra, though not quite so quick)

wuber18,

If you were to do a search found in the headings above the threads, using the word "Orajel", you will find a handful of entries discussing numbing creams.

Good luck.

humbly Hers,

I have used oragel medicinally and it is a topical anesthetic... However, if I recall, it forms a sort of "shell" around the tissue it is used on. This might or might not be a good thing for your purposes... hard to guess. If you are looking for is a "gel" version of Anbesol, there is precisely such a thing BTW... IIRC it comes in both regular and "extra strength" varieties.

Anyhow, if "nobody" has tried this, then make sure to test it on lots of cute and innocent bunny rabbits before you use it to yourself ! Just kidding... but if you do give it a try, start with a /very/ small quantity, and work your way up very slowly.. you might even want to give it a couple days to see if any weird delayed reactions occur... and let us know how it works for you.
