We have a set of 4 "tie downs". Basically each is a device that you thread a 1/4 in rope thru and around a textured wheel. The texture on the metal wheel keeps the rope from being pulled in reverse. the wheel itself will revolve in only one direction unless the release lever is depressed. Therefore, once I'm attached, wifey just has to pull the loose end of the rope. the pulling tightens the other end and because it's a one way deal, I can't loosen it. Wifey likes it because it's soooo simple to snug me up as tight as she likes, and it's soooo secure. You can get these things at any Home Depot or Lowes. Highly recommended.

BTW I have a set of wrist and ankle hospital restraints (well worth the money). The tie down simply snaps onto the restraint and I'm both very comfortable (restraints are padded) and absolutely secure. I removed the original snaps on the tie downs (they were too big and I could reach the release) and replaced them with mini snaps (that I can't reach).

I can't believe I go to such amazing lengths to ensure I'm absolutely helpless, with no "cheating" room allowed!

One more thing... for safety we do anchor one arm via an electromagnet door lock which is connected via dual (for safety) 15 min wind up timers. Wifey can keep turning the timers for more time (so she can keep me restrained for as long as she wishes), but if anything happens the longest I'd be stuck is 15 min.

It's not always just the guys who don't seem to quite "be there" either.
