Although I've been visiting the site for months, I've only recently started to "de-lurk." I know I'm repeating what others have said, but I have been very impressed by how informative and supportive this community can be to an absolute newbie like myself. Although I've had submissive fantasies for as long as I can remember, I've only recently decided to try moving these from the world of thought to the real world. Life is short.
I'm married, and I'm trying to interest my wife in domming me, but I'm moving very, very, very slowly so as not to scare her off. So far, she's been willing to experiment a bit (thank God!), but our play to date is still centered on what I want, not what she wants. I keep hoping that at some point she'll get turned on by the "taste of power" and discover her "inner Domme," but that hasn't happened yet. I'd be interested in hearing about/learning from the early experience of other Domme/sub couples.
